OCD
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is a mental health condition characterized by persistent, intrusive thoughts (obsessions) and repetitive behaviors or mental acts (compulsions) aimed at reducing anxiety or distress caused by these thoughts. People with OCD often feel driven to perform these rituals or compulsions, even though they may realize they are excessive or irrational. OCD can significantly interfere with daily life, causing distress and impairing functioning in various aspects such as work, relationships, and personal well-being.
Mood Disorders

Mood Disorders: Anxiety & Depression

Anxiety is a normal and adaptive response to stress or perceived threats, characterized by feelings of worry, fear, or unease. It's a natural reaction to challenging situations, but when excessive or persistent, it can become a mental health disorder.

Depression is a mental health disorder marked by persistent feelings of sadness, hopelessness, and a lack of interest or pleasure in activities. It can affect thoughts, emotions, and physical well-being, leading to disruptions in daily life.
Trauma

Trauma

Trauma refers to an emotional response to a distressing event, such as violence, abuse, accidents, or natural disasters. It overwhelms a person's ability to cope, causing feelings of fear, helplessness, or horror. Trauma can have lasting effects on mental health, triggering symptoms like flashbacks, nightmares, anxiety, or avoidance of reminders of the event. It can disrupt daily life, relationships, and overall well-being, sometimes leading to conditions like Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
Borderline Personality

Borderline Personality

Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) is a mental health condition characterized by pervasive instability in mood, self-image, and interpersonal relationships. Individuals with BPD often experience intense emotional episodes, struggle with self-worth, and have difficulties regulating their emotions. This disorder may lead to impulsive behavior, fear of abandonment, and a distorted sense of identity. Therapy, particularly dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), is commonly used for managing symptoms and improving coping mechanisms.
